Our program is based in Northeast Minneapolis and surrounding metro suburbs. Players are from North, South, East and West areas in the Cities, and over 10 different schools in the area.
Practices are between 3 - 5 times per week, depending on the team. Typical practices are 2 hours per practice. Circuit and Elite level team practices are typically 4 - 5 days per week and 3 hours per practice. Practices are typically held in Northeast Minneapolis.
Practices begin in March and run through June, July or August, depending on the team. Circuit and Elite level teams will play through August.
Teams will typically play 5-10 tournaments, depending on the team they participate in. Circuit and Elite level teams will play in Minnesota, regionally and nationally. Circuit teams will play in tournaments with college coaches and recruiters. Additional teams will compete in tournaments in Minnesota and regionally.
Fees range from $500- $1150 depending on the team and level. If a tournament or qualifier is added that cost will be split between the team members. Fees are non-refundable.
No. Travel and lodging arrangements are covered by the family.
Yes, we charge a nominal NON-refundable fee for tryouts.
No. Coaches do not provide rides for players.
We also conduct camps and events, including our Ball City Camp (12-15 yrs old), our HoopFest Camp (12-15 yrs old) and the Baby Ballers Camp (5-10 yrs old).

Ball City Select (16U/10th & 11th grade)
Ball City Elite (16U/10th & 11th grade)
Ball City Fire (16U/10th & 11th grade)
Ball City Gold (13U/Middle school)
Ball City Black (13U/Middle school)
Ball City Blue (13U/Middle school)
Tryouts and positional needs inform coaches' decisions towards forming competitive and balanced teams.
Parent involvement is important. We believe that a partnership between the program and the parents leads to the best success. We also look to parent volunteers to assist with coordination and other efforts.
